club life - O2 - fabric becomes matter

A new London club event being set up by the team behind Fabric in Clerkenwell has finally been given a name and it's Matter. The event will open mid-September and considering the phenomenal success of fabric it's obviously a big deal for keen capital clubbers. Located at the O2, formerly known as the Millennium Dome, Matter can still open independently as it has its own entrance on the banks of the Thames. More news as soon as the floodgates open on the grapevine. Make it a getdown date with destiny.

the demo edit of the naked mix will be the next upload - the full version has 16 tracks and the demo edit contains 8 tracks - one of those tracks contains over 10,000 notes [we stopped counting after that] - there are 3 drum kits but no guitars - the style.... difficult to determine.... it's progressive house...... it's deep house..... it's tech-house..... it's idm..... it's techno with a trip-hop drum kit - the percussion is african and indian - the beats are tribal - the vocals are spiritual with classical overtones - it's seriously funky - it's designed for the get down and not the radio - its 130 bpm and you may not like it

More tracks have been added overnight and more tracks are being added this evening to make the web-radio even more funky than it already is. The link has also be re-loaded with a dfunkbase icon so it looks much more attractive in the links section in the group and on your own web-pages should you take advantage of the 'vox this option'. All the usual suspects are on the playlist including coldcut, dab, dj food, irresistable force, lamb, leftfield, massive attack, portishead, tricky, mr scruff, telepopmuisk, kruder and dorfmesiter, theivery corporation and the herbaliser.

in production - why ? because we can - it's a seriously progressive and experimental deep grinding house track for the tenth dimension album which may or may not be finished soon and who cares anyway - its fun making recordings and that's the main point, it's for the enjoyment of music production and sound design, regardless of who's number one and who is shifting the most units

Please note - no animals were harmed as a result of this recording and the environment was not damaged during the production process - the cartel will not wear hot pants as a sexual aid for the album cover and they refuse point blank to sell their soul to a label executive - nor will the cartel members dance like prostitutes on ectasy in their music videos either, make-up artists and plastic surgeons should not approach us with free quotations and managers will not be required..... live life love - in logic
