demo adds are going to slow right down for a while because we are mixing and mastering all the funkcartel albums which is some pretty heavy work load to put it mildly - there are now 11 albums and we have to finalize the arrangements - we have to finish and finalize all the lead and backing vocals - we have to sort out all the detail that matters - demos are not such a big deal but when mastering is being done, it all gets really technical - frequencies - dynamics - volume levels for radio mixes - cd mixes - club mixes etc etc etc all influence the mix-down and takes a hell of a long time - so please don't think we've got lazy or given up at all - we are still doing it and we're still working hard to break as new artists - when all the albums have been finished we will start planning the UK club tour for 2009 - we shall also be working on videos and club visuals to make sure the live shows have some good entertainment value - sander kleinenberg need not worry that we will steal his thunder - but we will put in a few electrical storms to add fuel to his fire
the demo edit of the naked mix will be the next upload - the full version has 16 tracks and the demo edit contains 8 tracks - one of those tracks contains over 10,000 notes [we stopped counting after that] - there are 3 drum kits but no guitars - the style.... difficult to determine.... it's progressive house...... it's deep house..... it's tech-house..... it's idm..... it's techno with a trip-hop drum kit - the percussion is african and indian - the beats are tribal - the vocals are spiritual with classical overtones - it's seriously funky - it's designed for the get down and not the radio - its 130 bpm and you may not like it
in production - why ? because we can - it's a seriously progressive and experimental deep grinding house track for the tenth dimension album which may or may not be finished soon and who cares anyway - its fun making recordings and that's the main point, it's for the enjoyment of music production and sound design, regardless of who's number one and who is shifting the most units
Two more demos will be loaded by the weekend. Both tracks are deep, progressive, minimal house and they contain no sounds made from any guitars at all. Nor do they contain any sound created by hitting something with a stick. Neither recording uses any sound created by blowing air into a tube and nor do they contain any sounds created with the aid of animal skin or horses hair. Both tracks do however contain sonic activity created with cutting edge technology, sounds you never heard before. This is sound design, originated in a complex technical environment and produced purely for aural pleasure. No animals were harmed in the production process and no trees were felled either.
just loaded - the demo edit of the intro track to the last album - the title track from relativity - excursions in deep space ambient electronica
and whoever else made these allegations and we want it quick time - jukeen, pixieguts, ana gori and last.fm need to make statements and provide all the details of their accusations to back up their story fast because we have waited long enough. Those that made the complaints need to make themselves known and have some courage. Let's go people. We have already had a public apology from A&R and we are due some more right now.
not a bad start for people with no talent who can't make decent music and only manage a pathetic excuse for it
