deezer has made some major improvements to it's site recently and it is starting to put it's predecessors and rivals into the shade - there are plenty of on-demand sites around but deezer's contemporary design and superior style is making other platforms look extremely dated and inferior in many ways - last.fm, imeem, anywhere.fm and myspace look a complete mess in comparison to deezer - from the point of view of a user wanting to compile playlists and enjoy web-radio, deezer wins hands down - from the independent artists point of view, it's far easier to use and the future of deezer could be the future for the independents and unsigned ...... having used all these platforms for a while now deezer stands out a millennium mile and if it keeps on improving, then a move to deezer is an essential one for recording artists ........ don't take our word for it, try it out at www.deezer.com
more additions have been made overnight to calmer coma's playlist and the media player now auto starts to make things easier - we have also added an icon to the link because the green default image was not very attractive - just click and listen now - no need to even press play anymore
he's a cat from lisboa [wherever that is] and makes something called music - no idea what that is - but if you like music then his audio is worth a check - http://www.reverbnation.com/metricks
This weeks Sunday Soundtrack by fresh! is so chilled out and so good we had to highlight it - if downtempo chillout electronica was a fine art - then fresh has just compiled a masterpiece - the link is right here at calmer coma in the 'links' page of course - a new and welcome permanent feature..... enjoy it, we sure did..

New funkcartel audio has been loaded - the promo version of the dub mix for proton from the event horizon p.m album. It's a laid back chilled out deep house track designed for a warm up club session, nothing too heavy to give dj's something calm to start the night off. Many tracks are made as anthems or end of the night dance floor rockers - this is not one of them - this is designed for deep house and progressive house running mixes that flow slow and smooth in style and sit easy in the mix to kick things off with and not end the night on - very dj friendly.....
New audio uploaded from the Event Horizon A.M album
Syrian Sirens is from the Voices album and another mix of this track will also be included on the 5th album this year entitled 'The United Nations of Funk' - Although the funkcartel have yet to release any recordings, charts success has been achieved at last.fm - funkcartel are currrently 7 and 8 in the Independent Artists Charts in 2 seperate groups
The cartel have set up another group for the love of soul music. dasoulbase web radio was compiled late last night, the videos were sourced this morning and the design of the group site was finished this afternoon. This new group has been set up in association with the iau, calmer coma, revolution and dfunkbase which all hope to help raise the profile of independent artist. In addition these sites are a great place for vox users to communicate with other members who share the same sincere love of music............
The funkcartel have just launched a new group for funky music and video - drum and bass, trip-hop and electronica for the bristol, ninja tune and metalheadz scene. The group already has a web radio station and is being run alongside the calmer coma and revolution groups at vox and last.fm
