interesting stuff about the universe - the illustrated copy is the best by far - the images really do help alongside such complex descriptions and equations relating to space and time on the event horizon, quantum physics is hard enough as it is and besides, how else will we ever get to see pulsars without hubble deep field images, i certainly cant see that far.

The enlightening autobiography of a prominent and colourful social leader. An absolutely riveting read. His life story spans a difficult childhood, an early family breakup, racism in his academic environment and later widespread in society around him. Time spent as a dealer and involved in gambling rackets, jail and finally his rise and fall in the nation of islam. The whole thing is simply fascinating. There's many similarities between Malcolms stories and Nelson Mandelas Road to Freedom which are both worth taking the time to read.

An insight into a lifetime of struggle and pursuit in the name of equality and social justice. Nelson went through turmoil in his life, some of the events he describes are absolutely shameful. The law court proceedings that took place and the social activity described is sinful for want of a better word. All I can say without giving it all away is read it, you will not be sorry you did.
