it's not quite clear why label executives like indieboy seem to be a bunch of sheep - it's not clear why they have such bad taste in music - it is not clear why they only like music produced with drums and a guitar - it's not clear why they think the genre spectrum from coldplay to radiohead is vast and expansive whereas the rest of the world would consider that to be from indie rock to indie rrrr rock again - with all their ability, knowledge, talent and experience it is also a wonder why they don't just make albums themselves instead of labeling every artist around with the profound description of being 'crap' - it is not clear why in all the time they have been using vox as a demo submission site that only ONE signing has been made - what is clear though is this........... Hundreds of artists hang on their every word and willingly kiss their butt with regularity - they seem to think that people like indieboy are the demi-gods of the music industry when really, they are just over-paid and under-worked executives who can't practice what they preach

Artists should by-pass the critics and the vultures that reign supreme in major label land and just go direct to the public and save their soul from the manufactured music-machine that is the music-mafia homeland - these A&R executives have no interest in the artists and they are only concerned with a safe bet and making profit - these major labels are the reason why the music scene is so stale and sales are in decline - the general public are sick to death of hearing the same old styles on rotation and as long as these people dictate to the artists - the music industry will continue to fall into a severe depressive decline.

It is also not clear why indieboy does not like derren brown and would rather he did not visit one of indies 'crap' gigs - the guess is this - he does not want anyone with derren browns intelligence turning up to challenge the concept - anyone with a degree of sense will be able to see that 2 years of indieboy's work has resulted in some shoddy video work and a few lousy gigs in Camden, that are no better, in fact they are worse than gigs put on by students, unpaid, week in week out at colleges and university's all over the nation - some of these label executives should be replaced by student union reps who have a much better understanding of the current music scene than people like indieboy does - maybe then the music industry would progress instead of standing still in revolver land, going in circles of ever-less interesting 3 chord guitar riffs adorned with 'shite' vocals by slurring drunks with no heart or soul

before traveling to the county town think about this - there is nowhere to park at the best of times - residents constantly complain they can never park in the streets they live in - most homes have 2 cars and yet the council only allow one parking space per home - traffic wardens in the county town are evil nazis who get paid on commission - something to think about - we do know one car parking space that will be free and we do mean just 1

last fm similar

the list shows similar artists at last.fm - last.fm calculate these results by comparing what people listen to on their platform - the results show that last.fm users who listen to the funkcartel recordings also listen to no-one else at all....... if you check our recent listeners from time to time you will see that they do in fact listen to other artists so the question is - why do those artist not get listed as similar - the answer is that last.fm just fix these results to suit their own desire just like the playcounts - we really dont like last.fm - you may have noticed that !!!!!!!!

we have sent you over 50 emails asking for evidence of the claims made by yourselves and by jukeen and ana gori - we have asked ana gori and jukeen probably as many times by email as well - all of you have failed to do so despite having had 6 months to respond to the basic request - when we telephoned last.fm and spoke to you, you suggested that we send an e-mail - when we pointed out that you just ignored 6 months of e-mails and asked what was the point of sending any more emails that you will just ignore you had no answer at all - so - we suggested that we may well come to your offices to sort things out - that is exactly what we are going to do - let's hope your staff have not been out at too many parties recently because apparently drug dogs can pick up on the scent of substances easily if anyone has used them in the preceding 2 or 3 weeks before contact and we will have one of those for company when we visit you. Perhaps you can contact ana and jukeen to get all the info required and copy the data from your servers that we need to start legal action so that you can provide them to us when we drop in to your offices next week.

the demo edit of the naked mix will be the next upload - the full version has 16 tracks and the demo edit contains 8 tracks - one of those tracks contains over 10,000 notes [we stopped counting after that] - there are 3 drum kits but no guitars - the style.... difficult to determine.... it's progressive house...... it's deep house..... it's tech-house..... it's idm..... it's techno with a trip-hop drum kit - the percussion is african and indian - the beats are tribal - the vocals are spiritual with classical overtones - it's seriously funky - it's designed for the get down and not the radio - its 130 bpm and you may not like it
